Snow or no snow, we can’t wait for Christmas to start—and we can’t think of a better way to kick the holidays off than with Winter’s Dance #onRobson, December 1 and 2.
Presented by the Robson Street Business Association in collab with Small Stage, a local non-profit dance organization, the Snow Queen herself will take centre stage at 1155 Robson Street at 6 p.m. each night in a short, whimsical story about her wintery kingdom that will be projected onto the John Robson Building (at that address), creating a winter wonderland amid the hustle and bustle of Robson. Performances will be repeated every 15 minutes throughout the evening until 9 p.m. and, to add to the festive feeling, extra cheer will be served up with hot cups of cocoa and sweet treats for spectators in need of warming up and refuelling. (Psst: drivers, don’t fret. Robson Street will remain open to vehicle traffic!)
