Toronto’s dining scene is getting a sophisticated new addition this November with Chagall, an intimate, 32-seat kosher restaurant tucked inside the iconic Windsor Arms Hotel on St. Thomas Street. Led by celebrated chef and restaurateur David Adjey, Chagall is set to redefine kosher dining with global flavours, refined cooking, and a warm, artful atmosphere.
Open Sunday through Thursday for dinner, Chagall leans into connection and shared plates—think vibrant starters, fresh salads, mini tacos and richly sauced mains inspired by far-flung destinations like Thailand, Korea and Mexico. The showstopper? USDA Prime kosher “filets” with the kind of perfect sear you’d only expect from a top New York steakhouse.
“Chagall is about creating moments,” says Adjey. “From tableside service to unexpected global flavours, we want the experience to feel intimate, refined and fresh.”
The space blends natural stone, luxe woods, Murano glass chandeliers, and custom Italian furnishings—all setting the tone for a night that feels both elevated and inviting. A curated wine list, creative cocktails and even a VIP liquor locker program complete the experience.
