In a moment where life feels louder, faster, and more data-driven than ever, many are turning inward—seeking clarity that spreadsheets and algorithms can’t provide. Danna Calli has spent decades helping clients reconnect with intuition, navigate grief, and trust what they already feel but may not yet fully understand. In this Q&A, Danna shares how she discovered her gift, why intuitive guidance is resonating so deeply in 2026, and how psychic mediumship is finding its place within modern wellness—grounded, compassionate, and quietly transformative. —Noa Nichol

How did you first discover your gift as a psychic medium, and what was the moment you realized this work was your calling?

I started noticing it in a quiet, consistent way. I would “just know” things I had no logical way of knowing, pick up on emotions that weren’t mine, and feel a strong presence around certain people or places. At first, I brushed it off as imagination or sensitivity, but when I was 12, a teacher asked me, “Do you know who you really are?” I said, “No, what are you talking about?” and she replied, “You’ll find out halfway through your life.”

The turning point came when I took a psychic medium course at 40 and received profound messages from Spirit that were confirmed to be accurate by the teacher. From that point on, I knew my life had shifted. I finally had the confidence to accept all of who I am and be of service to those who need it.

In a world increasingly focused on data and technology, why do you think people are turning to intuitive and spiritual guidance more than ever in 2026?

Because people are overloaded with information and are looking for deeper meaning in life. We can track everything, optimize everything, measure everything, and still feel unsure, disconnected, and anxious. Intuitive guidance helps people come back to their higher selves. It offers clarity, comfort and a sense a connection in a world that can feel isolating. In 2026, more people are realizing that wellness is not just physical, it’s emotional, spiritual and energetic too.

For someone who’s never worked with a psychic medium before, what does a typical session with you look like, and what kind of insights can they expect to receive?

A session with me is directed by Spirit. Spirit always gives you what you most need to know now for your highest and best self. I start by connecting with Spirit, then I write down all the information that comes through and relay it back to you. If you need clarification, you are welcome to ask as many questions as you like. Some clients come with specific questions about love, career, timing, purpose, family, or next steps and some prefer to let Spirit do the talking. People can expect guidance that feels relevant to their lives in that moment, clarity on next steps, connections and messages from loved ones who have crossed to the other side.

How do your sessions help people move through grief, loss, or unresolved relationships in a way that traditional therapy might not?

Therapy is incredibly valuable and I see this work as complementary. Where mediumship can be different is that it can offer a sense of connection. For people in grief, there’s often a shift that happens when they feel a loved one’s presence or receive a message that brings peace and reassurance. It can soften guilt, reduce the feeling of “unfinished business,” and help people release what they’ve been carrying. Sometimes it’s not about big dramatic moments, it’s about the gentle reminder that love never goes away.

Many people are skeptical about psychic work. How do you respond to those doubts, and what evidence do you see in your practice that transforms skepticism into belief?

You don’t need to believe in psychic mediums to have a meaningful session. I tell people to stay open, ask questions and let Spirit guide the session. The “evidence” I see is in the specificity and the emotional recognition people have when something lands. It’s the moment someone goes quiet and says, “I’ve never told anyone that,” or when a message describes a situation, personality or detail that is deeply personal. The shift usually happens when people feel seen in a way that’s hard to explain, but impossible to forget.

You work with clients at very different stages of life, those seeking clarity in love, career, identity, or purpose. Are there common themes you see across these areas, and why do you think that is?

Yes, the themes are often the same underneath the surface: fear of making the wrong choice, fear of being judged, feeling stuck, not trusting themselves and wanting confirmation that they’re not behind. Whether it’s love or career, people are usually asking, “Am I safe to be who I really am” and “Can I trust what I feel?” I think that’s because so many of us were taught to outsource our knowing. This work is often about helping people come back to themselves.

What role does intuition play in everyday decision-making, and how can someone strengthen their own intuitive sense in 2026?

Intuition is your built in guidance system. It shows up as a calm knowing, a body feeling, a repeated nudge, or clarity that comes when you stop forcing it. Self love is key to strengthening your intuition. Finding ways to reduce your stress levels is also crucial . Journal, meditate, walk without headphones, spend time in nature and practice gratitude daily. The more you honor your intuition in small ways, the louder and clearer it becomes over time.

How has your understanding of spiritual connection and energy evolved over the years, especially as you’ve worked with more people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences?

The messages I am receiving have become more expansive and detailed. I’ve learned that Spirit meets people in the language they understand. For some, that’s very mystical, for others it’s subtle and practical. I’ve also learned that energy is not one size fits all. People carry different stories, cultures, grief, resilience and belief systems. My job is not to impose meaning, it’s to create a safe space where truth can come through in a way that supports the person in front of me.

In your experience, what’s the biggest misconception about working with a psychic medium, and what do you wish more people understood before their first session?

The biggest misconception is that psychics can tell the future and that it will happen in a specific timeline. It is very difficult to predict because people have free will. A reading is guidance, not a verdict. It’s about clarity, validation and options. I wish people would be less fearful and nervous about coming in and know that it’s always delivered with love.

Looking ahead in 2026, how do you see psychic and intuitive practices evolving within wider conversations around wellness, self-care, and personal growth?

I think intuitive work is becoming less fringe and more mainstream. People are treating it like they treat therapy, coaching, or somatic work, as part of a whole wellness plan. I also see a shift toward discernment and emotional responsibility, where intuitive guidance is used to support self-trust, not dependency. In 2026, I believe the future of this space is grounded spirituality: practical tools, nervous system awareness and deeper connection, all working together.

Not every psychic reading site offers the same level of quality. The best platforms combine affordability with experienced advisors and transparent policies. This balance allows users to explore psychic guidance without unnecessary risk or confusion.

Really appreciated the point that intuitive guidance should support self-trust, not dependency. The line about people fearing the wrong choice also felt especially true, because so much of what people are really looking for is not certainty, but clarity and permission to listen to themselves. I like how grounded this perspective is.
