If your 2026 mood board includes golden light, slow mornings by the water, and swimsuits that work from sunrise dips to sunset spritzes, allow us to introduce your next packing-list essential.
Bydee is officially ushering in the new year with Playa Blanca, its first collection of 2026—and it’s a love letter to modern summer dressing inspired by the sun-washed islands of Mexico. Effortless yet elevated, the collection captures that elusive vacation feeling: relaxed silhouettes, warm hues, and just enough shimmer to glow as the light shifts throughout the day.
Playa Blanca marks a first for the brand, too. It’s Bydee’s third core collection, and the first time it’s launched four distinct swim stories in one drop—three solid colourways plus a moody abstract print—designed for the more understated babe who still wants her swimwear to make a statement.
“Playa Blanca was inspired by the sun-washed islands of Mexico,” shares Dessy Hairis, Bydee’s CEO and Creative Director. “Designed to feel pared back yet quietly elevated, it captures an effortless island feel through relaxed silhouettes, considered details, and the flattering fits our babes know and love.”
Meet the Colours of the Season
Each colourway feels like a different hour of a perfect summer day:
Sanao
Bydee’s first-ever brown hue, Sanao is rich, grounded, and subtly lustrous—think sun-warmed skin and slow afternoons by the sea. It’s understated, chic, and already a favourite of Hairis herself.
Miel
Golden, glowing, and endlessly wearable, Miel channels honeyed light and long summer horizons. A warm neutral that somehow feels anything but basic.
Ámbar
Deep, moody, and romantic, Ámbar captures the last glow before dusk—a rich red elevated by a lustrous fabric that feels made for balmy evenings.
Zahara
For those craving wanderlust energy, Zahara delivers. Inspired by desert horizons and jewel-toned markets, this abstract print features an iridescent finish that feels both untamed and timeless. Bonus: it’s available across both swim and resort wear.
Details That Make the Difference
True to Bydee form, Playa Blanca is all about the finishing touches. The collection introduces a new sunray charm, exclusive to the range, alongside metallic brown resin beads and textured gold accents that elevate each piece without overpowering it.
Two new silhouettes also join the lineup:
- The Rhodes Top, a halter-neck take on the cult-favourite Kefalonia style
- The Malazzo One Piece, a high-cut update to the Marbella, finished with a gold sunray centrepiece
Resort Wear, Considered
Because great swim deserves great styling companions, Playa Blanca also introduces lurex-knit resort wear designed to catch the light with every step. From the Mira Knit Top to the Valora Knit Top and Zaria Knit Skirt, these pieces transition seamlessly from beach days to warm summer nights.
A Brand Built on Travel and Craft
Founded by Dessy Hairis in 2013, Bydee has grown from humble market beginnings into an internationally recognised swimwear brand, driven by a love of travel, feminine design, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Each piece is hand-tailored using premium Lycra, with sustainability front of mind thanks to the brand’s partnership with Repreve, a recycled polyamide fibre.
Consider Playa Blanca your sign to start planning the trip—even if it’s just in your head for now.

I recently went swimming at dawn in a warm bay—after such an intense workout, my body craves light, breathable clothing for the whole day. 32 degrees reviews helped me choose the perfect leggings and top—they’re soft, not too tight, dry quickly, and are incredibly comfortable. Now, after every swim, I wear them all day, feeling free and stylish. This year is definitely going to be a great one!

Thank you for this beautiful feature! I’ve been following Bydee for a while and this collection looks absolutely stunning. The color palette is so thoughtfully curated, especially Sanao. I love that they’re offering more understated options without sacrificing style. The addition of resort wear pieces is perfect timing too since I’m always looking for versatile pieces that work beyond the beach. Really appreciate how you captured the essence of the collection and the inspiration behind it. Can’t wait to see these pieces in person!
