The Wuthering Heights press tour has given us many gifts. Margot Robbie’s epic method dressing being the biggest one, and she had co-star Jacob Elordi along for the stylish ride. The pair play Cathy and Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s new adaptation of the Emily Brontë classic which opens on February 13.

If you know the story, you know it’s most certainly not conventional love story, but the theme of until-death-do-we-part drama weaves through this chronical of dark, gothic dark romance. To commemorate their roles in this iconic literary tale, Robbie had matching enameled signet rings made for her and Elordi by London-based designer Cece Fein-Hughes founder of the buzzy jewellery brand Cece.

Famous for her whimsical and intricately detailed designs worn by celebs including Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johanssen, Elle and Dakota Fanning, the rings Fein-Hughes’ created for Robbie and Elordi feature the image of two skeletons embracing, framed by red roses, with engraving which quotes a famous line from Brontë’s literary classic: “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” The rings also feature the initials “C&H” as a reference to Cathy and Heathcliff, and the years “1847–2026” which are a nod to both the book and its adaptation.

According to the luxury jewellery experts at UK-based Dawson’s Auctioneers, Robbie and Elordi’s matching set of bespoke rings have seen global searches for signet rings jump 47 percent. While yes, celebrity influence is certainly driving the interest, so too is a desire for jewellery that is more personalized and intentional.

“What we’re seeing here is a move away from trend-led jewellery and toward pieces that carry narrative, symbolism, and longevity,” shares Jonathan Pratt, managing director at Dawson’s Auctioneers. “Buyers are increasingly drawn to jewellery that feels personal and emotionally anchored, something with a story behind it that can be passed down. Signet rings, in particular, have evolved from purely heraldic objects into modern heirlooms carrying symbolic meaning, and this surge in interest reflects that shift.”

A matching set of signet rings is actually a brilliant gifting idea for you and your betrothed. These pieces not only will look incredibly chic coming down the aisle on your wedding day but are priceless pieces and modern heirlooms you will treasure forever. —Alison McGill

Matching signet rings always feel symbolic, especially when they’re tied to milestones rather than just trends. I recently ordered eyewear as a gift to complement a jewelry purchase and needed quick clarification on lens coating differences before finalizing everything, so I called using Oakley phone number. Instead of a routine script, the conversation shifted into durability comparisons for different climates, storage recommendations for travel, and even how frame tension changes over time. That practical breakdown about long-term wear ended up influencing the entire gift decision more than the aesthetic details I originally focused on.

“The rings may look a bit intimidating in design, but they clearly have admirers. Everyone has their own taste and unique style.” 💍✨
