Summer’s (arguably) most sought-after event, The Works Gala, will be held at the beautiful, historic Fairmont Macdonald June 26th—and there are so many reasons to attend.
First is the fact that the hotel’s gorgeous Empire Ballroom will be transformed into an art extravaganza, with the fun spilling out onto the veranda and riverside grounds. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception before the Food is Art multicourse dinner by chef Serge Jost, with live performances by Capital City Burlesque, Alysse Bowd, Tony Olivares Dance and DJ Andrea Why. Dance the night away to The Wet Secrets and satisfy your shopping bug at the silent auction. Best of all, the gala supports council scholarships and art internships at The Works.
Come spend a summer evening among Edmonton’s most stylish, won’t you? —Randall Macdonald
