If there is one beauty aesthetic that never goes out of style, it’s the effortless, “I woke up like this” nonchalance of a Parisian girl. For the Dior Fall-Winter 2026-2027 Ready-to-Wear collection by Jonathan Anderson, Peter Philips—the Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup—brought that exact energy to the runway with a look that was natural, youthful, and very contemporary.
“I created a natural, fresh look … with eyes subtly accentuated with touches of black kohl,” explains Philips. “Like traces of make-up, for the light, nonchalant effect”. Ready to master the art of the intentional smudge? Here is how to get the look. —Noa Nichol
The Complexion: Luminous & Fresh
The secret to “expensive” skin is all in the prep. Philips started by cleansing the face with the detoxifying La Mousse OFF/ON, followed by Dior Les Patchs Yeux to instantly hydrate the eye area. To build a radiant base, he layered Dior Capture Le Sérum and Dior Capture Crème Fine before evening out the skin with Dior Forever Skin Glow. Any minor imperfections were caught with Dior Forever Skin Correct for a seamless finish.
The Eyes: Subtly Accentuated
To achieve that perfectly imperfect “Parisian” gaze, Philips used Diorshow On Stage Crayon 099 Black. Instead of a harsh, precise wing, he left light traces of liner at the corners and on the waterline to create a line that was “neither continuous nor even”. Brows were kept structured yet natural using the Diorshow On Set Brow and Diorshow Brow Styler.
The Finishing Touches
- Lips: Kept natural and luminous—without being overly glossy—using Dior Addict Lip Maximizer 001 Pink.
- Nails: A transparent treatment routine using Dior Huile Abricot, Dior Base Vernis, and Dior Nail Glow ensured the manicure looked clean and effortless.
- Hair: To complete the nonchalant vibe, the hair was styled in a neat-yet-tousled side-parted ponytail.

Loved this breakdown of the Dior Fall/Winter 2026-2027 beauty look. The effortless Parisian girl vibe really stands out – especially the luminous skin and subtly smudged eyeliner that keeps everything looking natural rather than overdone. It’s amazing how small details like soft liner and fresh skin can create such a chic runway glow. Honestly, that kind of polished-but-effortless style reminds me of how the right haircut can elevate a look – simple, clean, and effortlessly stylish.
