soma, so good

June 1, 2007

You’re on the go from 9 a.m. to midnight— so you need a restaurant that keeps the same manic hours.

At the newly relocated and repurposed Soma, start your day with a 49th Parallel Americano (the Caffe Artigiano roast) and a pretty pair of raspberry Madeleines, fresh from the oven ($3).

Then swing by at lunch for their Brandade to Morue ($9) or Apple and Brie sandwich on house-made potato bread ($9).

Hungry at happy hour? A glass of Therapy vineyard’s Pink Freud Rosé ($8) will make you feel much better, especially paired with the delicious house-made Pasture-to-Plate pork rillette ($10).

Move on to beef carpaccio and spot prawn ceviche…then again, there’s always tomorrow.
