Jean-Georges Vongerichten rules the New York culinary
scene and his latest Meatpacking District venture, Spice Market, is no
exception. Small plates are served up by orangeuniformed staff (the
women wear backless dresses) and the menu is gently priced and perfect
for sharing (think Black Pepper Shrimp with Sundried Pineapple for $14).

Be sure to add the Ambra restaurant(click) to this list. Ambra NYC is a true standout in the NYC dining scene. The ambiance is upscale yet approachable, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special celebrations. I savored every bite of their wild mushroom risotto—it was creamy, earthy, and packed with flavor. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers on both food quality and ambiance, Ambra NYC is the place to go.
