Get lost in the music this week at Pop Montréal.
What started as a grass-roots festival six years ago has grown into one of the best indie music events in North America. More than 200 acts from across the continent are scheduled to play at 20 venues around the city.
Weve already got our tickets to hear legendary Patti Smith strut her stuff on October 5 (in a church, no less!). And well be front and centre to see Montreal darling Miracle Fortress (a.k.a. Graham Van Pelt) perform his Beach Boys style ballads at La Tulipe tonight.
Along with music, Pop also offers film screenings, a music conference and an arts & crafts fair called Puces Pop.
