The Germain Group is bringing swank back to the kitschy motor inn.
Its new ALT Hôtel on the south shore is 159-rooms of no frills chic. Affordable without sacrificing style and comfort, the hotel still offers the kind of luxuries one would expect in a big city boutique establishment: goose down duvets, flat-screen plasma TVs and Italian-designed armchairs.
But really, its the little things we like best, such as free bottled water and fabulously dressed staff wearing Parasuco jeans.
