NUTS ABOUT CAKE

November 25, 2007

Love it or loathe it, its hard to get through the holidays without a
nibble of fruit cake.

For a slice thats dense and nutty and full of fruit, we suggest Grandma
Debs Gourmet.

Made at home in Barrie, Grandma Deb follows a family recipe that dates
back almost 125 years. Using only the finest of ingredients, each cake
(from $7.50) is lovingly wrapped in a rum-soaked cheesecloth, wax paper,
saran wrap and decorative cello-wrap.

Serve with a splash of hot, creamy custard or one of Grandma Debs festive
sauces.

Available at Pusateris Fine Foods, 57 Yorkville Ave., Toronto,
