We tipped you off to the refurbished boutique Moda
Hotel back in July.
Now weve got the exclusive sneak peak of its Uva
Wine Bar (Italian for grape) opening tomorrow.
With original 1908 mosaic floors, a 20s Belgian coat rack, fancy German
wallpaper and the former Lumière sommelier at the helm, its got all the
makings of a hot pre-Orpheum stop.
Try the lemon-chili olives served on white Martha Sturdy platters and
charcuterie and lemon pistachios on bamboo boards with a bottle of the
Sicilian Fuedo dElimi Catarratto ($31), and you may even miss the first
act.
But then again, you always were the true star.
