WINE OOOOOHHHH

June 6, 2008

Your palate is sophisticated enough to distinguish between a bottle of
plonk and the good stuff, but debating the finer points of a Pinot Noir
leaves you totally tongue tied.

Expand your horizons with a wine-tasting seminar at Restaurant
Vauvert
($21 per class). Held every Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m.
to 9 p.m., sommelier Marie-Josée Beaudoin profiles a different varietal,
guiding participants through world-famous wine regions from abroad
(Argentina to Australia) and at home (B.C. to Québec).

To accompany the talk, participants sample three glasses of wine and
indulge in the restaurants yummy fricot (a variety of tapas).

Wine not?
