TASTE OF THE TOWN

July 12, 2008

After a nasty bout of construction, the lower Main has finally come back
to life. Celebrate with a lovely meal al fresco at the new Koko
Restaurant + Bar
.

The menu is Asian-inspired and the space is modernly decorated in black
and white with a touch of romantic-whimsy (we love the lampshade-wearing
horse at the front entrance).

We recommend the Torched Mackerel with citrus sauce (expertly singed at
your table, $12), Asian-style Steak Frites with wasabi butter ($36), and
a divine Chocolate Delice with tangerine ice cream ($9). When youve had
your fill, order an apératif, relax on one of the couches and be
thankful the jackhammers have gone south.
