Goldilocks went into the woods and found an intimate dining experience.
We stumbled into Railtown and found the same (sans porridge, of course).
A cozy, corner bistro at the intersection of Alexander and Gore, Two
Chefs and a Table serves up delectable dinner plates three nights a
week, Thursday through Saturday.
Take a gaggle of good friends and stake claim to the master table in the
middle of the room which offers prime views of the chefs at work. Get
your palette primed with a bracing bramble cocktail ($11) and
amuse-bouche of buffalo mozzarella topped in olive tapenade, then
indulge in the chefs five course dinner ($44). Always market fresh and
reinvented weekly, ours included a savory sangiovese ragout to start and
sweet apple spring roll with gorgonzola gelato to finish.
The restaurant also serves lunch and brunch and will custom cater your
big event to make sure its just right. If only Goldilocks had gotten the
memo.
