This city is already famous for one rodeo but for those less interested
in cowboy-roping, uh, we mean calf-roping at The Calgary Stampede,
theres a more cultural but equally risqué rodeo in town this month.
Renowned for its experimental works, One Yellow Rabbits High
Performance Rodeo, (a festival featuring theatre, dance, music and
multimedia) opens today.
Highlights include our favourite Kids in the Hall alum Scott
Thompson talking rectal surgery and Saddam Hussein, composer Phillip
Glass and his solo piano performance and the mesmerizing Les Ballets
Jazz de Montreal.
Runs until January 31. For more information visit www.oyr.org
