A little paint, new lighting and fresh décor can drastically change a space.
This is the case at the former home of local favourite Bar Named Sue which sadly closed its doors late last year but has now been transformed into chic cocktail boîte Milk Tiger Lounge.
The new digs have a delicious sampling of edibles including the vegetarian skewer platter ($13) and cherry tomatoes wrapped with anchovies and the raspberry and garlic baked brie ($11). Wash it down with a Kronenburg ($5.95) or a Cosmopolitan ($9).
A facelift can sometimes do wonders.
