Like a scene from your grandparents rec room, complete with velvet
couches, wood paneling and orange orb lighting, the new lounge Meet
takes you back decades and then abruptly brings you back with its modern
twist on drinks and food.
An extension of the popular vegetarian eatery The
Coup, this martini lounge/juice bar is a welcome addition to the
always-packed restaurant.
Flip through the Rolodex menu and youll find some old favourites such as
the baked rosemary yam fries ($5.50) and a new bites like the sushi sans
rice with edamame puree, carrots, sprouts, cilantro and cabbage wrapped
in nori ($6.50) and the poutine new school with mushroom gravy ($9.50).
Try the Hot Pants, a carrot-tomato juice Caesar with horseradish and
cayenne topped with a pickled carrot ($8).
