Piece of Cake

May 15, 2009

Midtowners have kept mum on this small neighbourhood pâtisserieand who
can blame them?

La Bamboches fresh,
decadent croissants (the pain au chocolat is heaven), breads and
Japanese-inspired French pastries have deservedly gained a loyal local
following.

Add pastry chef Stephen Nasons eclectic macarons, available in such
unique flavours as green tea, jasmine, balsamic and lavender, and this
bake shop gives even the finest in Paris (and Tokyo) a run for their
money.

Open late for those après dinner treat hunters.
