How About Them Apples?

June 5, 2012

We don’t judge a book by it’s cover (not even 50 Shades of Grey),
but we do judge a beverage by its bottle.

So when we spied the slick-yet-whimsical branding in development at a
Vancouver design studio, we quickly tracked down the cider sisters
behind Left
Field Cider Co
.

Theresa and Kate are from B.C.’s Nicola Valley, where their modern
cider house has just opened for tours. Trained in England, cider maker
Kate blends French and English cider apples with BC dessert apples for a
handcrafted beverage that’s so refined you’ll want to drink it out of a
wineglass.

With two blends available (Little Dry and Big Dry) with alcohol levels
that fluctuate with the vintage, we love that it’s not sweet and that
the only ingredient on the pretty label is apples.
