We tend to prefer a low-key (read: BBQ and beer in the backyard)
St-Jean-Baptiste celebration, but this year well be making the trek to
Parc Maisonneuve.
Of the acts were most looking forward to soaking in, Ariane Moffatt
comes out on top. With tons of awards under her belt not to mention a
record that went platinum in Quebec we suspect that were in for a
fabulous surprise.
Also taking the stage is Adam Cohen, a.k.a Leonards son and Mister
Vallaire, the electro-pop group that will keep the party going until 1
a.m. (as opposed to the 11 p.m. curfew of years past).
And to finish off the night? Poutine at La
Banquise, bien sûr what better way to celebrate la
belle province? Christine Laroche
