A shucking good time

Sunday is the 4th
annual Oysterfest
, a.k.a. the ultimate way to bid adieu to the
summer season in yummy style.

A $35 or $65 ticket, depending on how thirsty/hungry one is, grants
access to fabulous food (sponsor restos include LOrignal, Barroco and
Bocata), great cocktails (theres even a not-to-be-missed Caesar
competition) and, of course, lots of oyster shucking and all around good
times.

Less known fact: The event is actually a fundraiser. All profits will be
donated to The Open Pier Foundation, which is dedicated to ocean
preservation and sustainability awareness, and to the Environmental
Defense, whose mission is about health, the environment and water.
