Everything is better with wine, as the saying goes. It rings
particularly true at Missions new tapas lounge, Candela
with its impeccable wine offerings and tantilizing tapas menu.

Stepping into Candela, one feels like theyve been transported back in
time to a glamourous, 1970s Morrocan-inspired bistro (a vintage feel
much like the owners other popular restaurant, Alloy), where attention
to detail is showcased in the beautiful lighting, upholstery and
standing bar.
The Zucchini Fritters, served up with marash chilli, dried fruit and
yogurt ($7) are the perfect complement to the Chicken Lollipops with
fresh hummus ($9). And the wine? You cant go wrong with a good bubbly
order up the Italian Adami Garbel Prosecco for $9. Kait Kucy
