Moms have a lot piled on their plate and that is especially true of
Alessandra Quaglia, co-owner of Provence

She and her husband,
Chef Jean-Francis, have studied and worked at many of Frances most
reputable restaurants they met during an apprenticeship at Nices Hotel
Negresso before settling in Vancouver, first setting up one restaurant,
then two, then a wine bar, with two kids along the way. So how does such
a busy family mark special occasions? With truffles and eggs!

For
Mothers Day, theyll celebrate a week later (May 12th will be a packed
day at the restaurants, obviously) with a grown-up breakfast in bed for
Alessandra: Brouillade de Truffes with fresh fruit and savory scones.
And while that sounds delicious, the meal will be made extra (extra)
