This fall Calgarys art scene grew with two new contemporary art spaces
and an favourite gallery found a new home
Truck Gallery has moved to a larger, street level location in
Sunalta. The new space also marks the 30th anniversary of the
contemporary gallery that features local artists work in mediums like

ContainR
is a village of shipping containers that is setting up at semi-permanent
home in Sunnyside. The containers will serve as performance, art and
film screening spaces and will offer year-round (mostly free)

Barbara Edwards
Contemporary Gallery, which showcases contemporary art from Canadian
and international artists, is opening its second Canadian, and first
Calgary location. The opening show is an exhibit of new sculptures by
