We must admit, a lot of "stand there and look quirkily cool" style blogs have lost their appeal – it’s all a bit 2011, no?
But we’re feeling fashionably refreshed after scrolling through Canadian photographer Lincoln Clarke’ Worldwide Green Eyes. Taken in motion, the subjects certainly aren’t perfectly coiffed socialites standing in front of fashion shows (don’t we get enough of those?) but rather people with some place to be, sometimes partially obscured by cars and seemingly unaware the lens is on them.
There’s no set aesthetic: a shot of a woman in heels could be followed by a guy in a tasselled motorcycle jacket puffing on a cigarette. Clarkes’ new book, Cyclists, features 150 of his photographs – consider it the fashion tome, 2.0.
They say fashion is cyclical.
