Southern Comfort

December 13, 2013

Pulling on our boots and zipping up our parkas to satisfy our craving for barbecue in a blizzard isn’t our idea of a good time.

Booker GrillInstead of grilling in the snow (how Canadian of you), drive downtown to Booker’s BBQ Grill & Crab Shack for Southern-style barbecue that’s finger lickin’ good.

Its new menu boasts barbecue inspired by executive chef Myles Learning’s recent journey to Nashville. Try the platter and choose from a variety of meats including tender brisket and juicy pulled pork. Or, avoid the frosty rush hour on Mondays with their all you can eat rib and crab night.

Booker’s has also updated the classic Calgary caesar with Cajun and cucumber versions. The Cajun, featuring honey-peppered vodka, will warm you up while the snow blows outside.
