‘Twas the day before Christmas, when all through the city
Shoppers were frantic and not very witty;
The stockings were hung on the faux fireplace,
And ribbon was strewn all over the place;
The in-laws were nestled all snug in the guest bed,
While visions of Christmas on the beach danced in your head…
Whatever is left on the to-do list will just have to stay there – Christmas is (almost) here.
One Last Thing: Find great last minute gift ideas here and check out our beauty stocking stuffers here. If you have to head to the grocery story anyway, consider a foodie centric gift of dried pasta, excellent olive oil and gourmet sea salt (how very Gwyneth!).
Holiday Cheer: We love this simple mulled wine recipe from Ina Gartner – no superfluous ingredients required.
That’s a Wrap: Sticky tags give gifts more of a "parcel from the North Pole" feel, and substitute bows (which tend to fall off) for ribbon. Don’t worry if the store is sold out of theme paper: brown butcher paper, polk dots or stripes and monochromatic themes (white paper/black ribbon) all look great under the tree. Pick up some half-price ornaments to adorn the gift. Tip: sharp scissors and a good pop-up tape dispenser will save you some grief.
Happy Christmas from the team at VitaminDaily.com!
