The flamboyance and opulence of Marie Antoinette comes to the Places des Arts stage.
From April 9th to 12th, we’re jumping … er … sauté-ing at the chance to see the Houston Ballet’s Marie-Antoinette by Stanton Welch (tickets from $52.72). Sure, we’re Ballet 101 graduates, but we wouldn’t exactly consider ourselves connoisseurs in the world of dance. We are, however, over the moon about feasting our eyes on the lavish set and costumes by Canadian designer Kandis Cook—not to mention the over-the-top beauty looks.
