We’ve been feeling a little more bright-eyed and bushy-tailed of late—it must be all the juicing we’ve been doing.
Jeffron de Savoye, the holistic nutritionist working with The Good Press—Yorkville’s brand-new juice bar—tells us this could, indeed, be the case. According to de Savoye, “One juice a day and you could feel and look better within a week.” Not only that, we’re fairly certain all the yummy açai bowls we’ve been enjoying on the regular at this healthy hub, which was created by Leila and Andrew Ois of Sunshine Wholesome Market, have played a role, too. This super-cute couple was happy to share the recipe for their Good Press Green Bowl:
1 Sambazon Organic Acai Smoothie Pack, 100 mg
1 medium-ripe, organic, fair-trade banana
1 rounded teaspoon of high-quality spirulina powder
1/3 cup good-quality, organic granola
1/4 cup fresh, seasonal fruit (berries work best)
Blend 2/3 of banana with frozen açai smoothie pack and spirulina powder till smooth. Pour into a cereal or dessert bowl and top with granola, fresh fruit and reserved banana, sliced.
