Our Instagram feed’s been flooded with snaps of a certain all-Canadian cocktail, and there’s a new hotspot to blame: L’Gros Luxe.
This laid-back neighbourhood restaurant, tucked in a quaint and quiet corner of the Plateau, has elevated the Clamato-based Caesar (from $7; $2 off on Sundays) to inventive new heights. Translation: any place that considers an onion ring or mini-burger a bevy garnish is forever in our good graces. And, if the drinks got us through the door the first time, the charming ambiance and crave-worthy—not to mention totally Instagrammable eats like poutine grilled cheese—will surely keep us coming for more.
