portugal to goFirst there was Portus Calle, then Helena, a quick stint at the La Cabane pop-up (we still remember those maple pastel de natas!) and now, Cantinho de Lisboa.

Chef Helena Loureiro’s latest venture is a take-out counter that serves up beautifully executed Portuguese classics perfect for those grab-and-go occasions that, if you’re anything like us, come up more often than not. The space works triple time as a specialty grocery store stocked with Portuguese and local delicacies, including a cheese/charcuterie counter, bakery and café.

Perhaps most importantly, the place sells pastel de natas. Bliss! —Christine Laroche
