Fabulous Fabergé

Calling all lovers of sparkle, glitz and glam: the Montreal Museum of Fine Art’s latest exhibit is for you.
 
The largest Fabergé collection outside of Russia is visiting MMFA until October 5th. The exhibit, called Fabulous Fabergé: Jeweller to the Czars, is divided into four galleries that explore the tradition of the Easter egg, the empire of the Czars (hello, Peter and Catherine the Greats!), Fabergé’s creative process and the artist’s role in the daily lives of the Romanovs. All with (of course!) gorgeous artifacts decked out in gold, diamonds, sapphires, rubies and more.
