Those in the Prairies may not be as lucky but, here on the West Coast, it seems summer’s sticking around.
Besides the beach weather, two fresh, herb-inspired cocktails by Joe Fortes are helping to prolong the season. The resto’s Wild Thyme drink incorporates organic cream honey and fresh thyme with hibiscus-infused vodka and a lemon squeeze (pictured). The Garden Gnome is a blend of basil, cucumber syrup, cranberries and hibiscus-infused vodka. And, with Joe Fortes’ rooftop patio scheduled to stay open till October 5th, that summertime feeling is still within reach.
