Diner en Blanc recalls the elegance and glamour of court society, which is nice and all, but if precarious summer whites and ticket fees aren’t your thing, an alternate option has presented itself.
Introducing Ce Soir Noir, a "no-chic picnic" of grassroots organization comprised of a massive, entirely free gathering on August 25th in Crab Park. The democratic event asks only that attendees deck out head-to-toe in black attire (all the better for sitting on the grass in), bring food, drink, friends, and donation to the food bank if willing.
