Banff’s first and only distillery and restaurant is wooing us with authentic mountain food and booze.
Though the Park won’t be offering its own gin and vodka—made with glacier water and foothills-farms grain—for a few months, it will, meantime, be serving inventive cocktails by master distiller Matt Hendriks alongside campfire-inspired eats like wood-fired lamb chops, spit-roasted wings and, our faves, Tinfoil Trout and Mesquite Beef Hoaggies.
Like we needed another reason to go to Banff. —Sara Samson
