Out with the old, spring in with the new. But even our Crate & Barrel tastes must be satisfied on an even more affordable (read: bargain basement) budget. We’re thinking a few graphic poufs, a cool gold-framed mirror, mid-century modern-inspired pendant lights, and some comfy bedding in a fun pattern. And it’s not a pipe dream: Walmart has all of this and then some. Yes, the big box store has stepped it up many notches in the home furnishings department. How’s that for sitting pretty? — Karen Kwan
