Kitsilano’s latest creamery presents each topping-filled cup of soft serve with smoky liquid nitrogen. Far from vanilla, The Classic is a cereal-flavoured ice cream topped with crushed graham crackers, condensed milk and styled with layered shortbread. Even the DIY store design is super sweet: a minimalist Vancouver cityscape—East Van cross, check!— graces the main wall. If you can’t get enough, the team has also come up with take-home ice cream sandwiches and pints (no smoky special effects though!). Word on the street: Dairy-free options are coming to Whole Foods this summer.
