New Edmonton Eats: The Alder Room

Brace yourself for another gastronomic treat, Edmonton! This summer brings us something different from local food scene heavyweight, Ben Staley. A Noma alum and the original North 53 chef is set to open the Alder Room on Jasper Avenue. Showcasing Albertan produce, Staley hopes to reinvigorate the local food scene with creative and left-of-centre dishes.

Along with the Alder Room will come Alder Society, a non-profit arm of the restaurant which aims to make healthy and local food available to low income Edmontonians.
