The moment you arrive on the Las Vegas strip, the energy is palatable. Even in the winter, the temperatures are hot and the sun is shining. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night it is, in Vegas, there’s always something going on. —Amanda Nunes
Stay: The luxurious Cromwell Hotel is an intimate boutique hotel on a perfect spot on the Strip. Though there’s no shortage of things to keep you occupied outside the hotel, the rooms are hard to leave. Parisian-styled and decked out in deep purple damask wallpaper, beds with quilted leather headboards, rain showers and Muk bath products, we loved getting ready here. During the day, we hit up the hotel’s rooftop pool deck, Drai’s BeachClub, but went back at night when it transformed into an electric club with panoramic views.
Savour: Giada’s is a bright, airy restaurant, perfect for snagging brunch. Grab a seat by the windows, and take in the view of the city while enjoying staples like mimosas and salmon eggs benny, as well as a few surprises. We loved the Lobster Hash and devoured the assorted pastry basket with pull-apart-monkey bread.
In the evening, Mr.Chow is the place to be. This futuristic-looking Asian restaurant attracts locals, tourists and celebs alike. Meals are served family-style so you get to try a bit of everything. Indulge in the Champagne trolley as it makes the rounds, or try a cocktail. May we suggest the Chow-lini (Moet & Chandon Champagne with peach foam)? For entrees, the glazed prawns with walnuts and the hand-pulled noodles are a must-try.
Stroll around The Park and take in some public art before dining at the Shake Shack, known for their classic American-style burgers and yummy fresh made frozen custard.
Do: Take in the strip from way up high! The High Roller will take you to new heights. The highest observation wheel in the world, there’s nowhere better to see the bright city lights. At night, you can experience Happy Half Hour and enjoy open bar cocktails. For something a little more low-key, take in a morning yoga session with a professional instructor.
Play: Need a break from fast-paced city life? Fresh air isn’t too far away. Take some time to visit the breathtaking desert in Nevada! The Valley of Fire National Park is the oldest state park in Nevada, and one of the most beautiful. It has rolling red and white sandstone hills, and jagged red cliffs.
See: We couldn’t pass up the chance to see Britney Spears in her Vegas show, Piece of Me. The Princess of Pop shines at Planet Hollywood, in a sexy and captivating performance complete with lasers, rings of fire, animations and all of her smash hits from “Hit Me Baby One More Time”, right back to “Work.” Her dance moves are on point, and you can’t help but to sing and dance right along with her.

On our last night in Vegas, we went to see Cirque Du Soleil’s Mystère, the longest-running Cirque show on the strip. This mesmerising, whimsical performance is the perfect show to see if it’s your first time (or second…or third…) in Vegas. It was also funny, and an amazing way to end a trip.
