It may still be early in the new year, but we’ve already found a favourite way to mark Montreal’s 375th anniversary (hint: with a spritz!).
With his latest collection perfumer Claude André Hébert takes us on an olfactory journey through the city’s history, starting with À l’Ombre des Clochers—a vintage jus that evokes Old Montreal with its cobblestone streets—and Notre-Dame, inspired by the namesake basilica. Métropole and Ville-Marie pay tribute to a more modern urban era, with notes reminiscent of bustling Ste-Catherine Street and metal skyscrapers. Finally there’s Mont-Royal: a fresh elixir celebrating our biggest and most beautiful green space.
To own one (or all five, at $185 each), visit the Hébert’s Saint-Denis Street boutique (say we sent you). —Christine Laroche
