This spring is going to be epic! How do we know? Well, we recently learned that the flavour wizards—a.k.a., business partners Matthew Garrett and Simon Underwood—behind Moonshine Doughnuts are opening a bricks-and-mortar location! Yesss!
Edmonton has long been enjoying the duo’s tasty baked vegan doughnuts, but thus far they’ve pretty much only been available at various farmers markets around town. The flagship store, dubbed Doughnut Party, will add fried doughnuts to Moonshine’s repertoire. Also, a recent trip to Tokyo is rumoured to have provided Garrett and Underwood with major inspiration for their latest venture, so expect lots of colour, on-point packaging and deliciousness of course! While the opening date has not yet been made official, we’ve been assured it’s any day now.
