If you studied at Concordia, you probably ate more than your fair share of meals at Bangkok. Quick, cheap, tasty: the forever-busy counter was arguably one of the best Thai spots in the city.
Needless to say, when Faubourg Ste-Catherine shut down its food court last year, Bangkok’s signature dishes (Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, Garlic and Pepper Shrimp, etc.) were sorely missed. Because, yes, even though our university days are long gone, we still detoured to this spot any time the craving struck (read: often). Then, the good news hit Facebook: Bangkok is back in business with a new location near Beaudry metro.
Tasty, authentic Pad Thai (and more)? Back on the menu and, dare we say, better than ever. —Christine Laroche
