After years of envying other Canadian capitals, Edmonton finally has its very own distillery!
Strathcona Spirits has broken our fair city’s local liquor drought with Alberta grain and wild foraged ingredients. After a long research and development period including trips to Mississippi, Arkansas and Graceland, SS is ready to sling the drinks. In fact, you can already find the company’s goods in cocktails at plenty of YEG watering holes (not to mention bottles gracing the shelves of many a liquor store ’round town). We’re loving the Badland Seaberry Gin made from wild Red Deer juniper and native seaberry picked right here in Edmonton.
