Our family has "How many days until summer?" on maximum repeat and the official countdown to sunnier days has begun now that Cokluch Mini has released its gorgeous SS collection for kids six months to six years.
Born from Quebec designers’ Christine Guérin and Laurie Lemieux’s well-established line for women, the minis are comfy, irreverent pieces that scream picnics and playtime. Clothes are made in Montreal’s increasingly hip Villeray neighbourhood and, while cuts are classic, the water-based screen prints are far from basic. Think grey and yellow constellation patterns inspired by starry nights, black-and-white bumble bees and sunglass-sporting flamingos.
We’re coveting the draw-string shorts, cotton cap-sleeved tees and stripey bamboo rayon rompers, each as lovely and effortless as summer itself. —Marianne Wisenthal
