Question: when is a lip balm more than just a lip balm? Answer: when it puts the spotlight squarely on ocean conservation.
Committed to playing its part in helping to end the earth’s current plastic pollution problem (it’s a big one, people), one of our favourite beauty brands, eos, has created a truly special Marine Collection consisting of two luscious, lippy spheres that together celebrate the beauty of the sea and the power of marine botanicals. Available this spring in a limited-edtion twin pack ($11 at Walmart, London Drugs, Jean Coutu, Pharmaprix, Indigo Chapters and Lawtons), the collection includes a moisture-rich organic lip balm in a new brand-new (and, dare we say, absolutely delicious) flavour called watermint, plus a mermaid-inspired Shimmer lip balm that transforms from an iridescent lilac to your very own custom shade (read: perfectly gorgeous). Both balms boast marine botanicals like Irish moss and kelp extract—ingredients known in beauty for being an incredible source of nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants, with benefits like helping dry skin to rehydrate and retain moisture, leaving it soft and supple.
