Most of us have had a teacher who has inspired us or even changed the course of our life. In fact, 88 per cent of people say a teacher had a significant impact on their life, while 87 per cent report that they wish they had told their best teachers how much they appreciated their efforts.
With the current school year coming to a close, Canadian parents are thinking about ways to thank their children’s teacher for all the hard work and passion they put into educating the next generation. That’s why on May 8th, 2018, in conjunction with National Teacher Appreciation Day in the U.S., Crayola is launching "Thank a Teacher Day" in Canada to celebrate and thank educators across the country for their commitment to students, learning and creativity.
