You may have noticed a few (make that five) sandwiches make their debut behind the glass at your neighbourhood Starbucks recently.
Inspired by international flavours, these Canadian exclusives include a chimichurri chicken, Cubano, chicken banh mi, chicken apple brie and vegetarian-friendly Caprese, all prepared with natural ingredients and featuring stone-baked breads (for max enjoyment, ask for yours warmed). Also new: chicken chorizo and tortilla sous vide egg bites, made with chicken chorizo, chipotle salsa and corn tortilla strips.
The coffee king has also added new cold-drink offerings to encourage perfect summer pairings—three luxe Frappuccinos (Triple Mocha, Ultra Caramel and Serious Strawberry, each with several saucy, swirly layers), iced Teavana tea lattes (including our favourite "blossoming rose" flavour) and cold foam, available as a topper to any cold coffee beverage you fancy.
