Two of our favourite Vancouver boutiques are closing their doors, marking the end of a fashion era.
Locally owned Enda B Fashion and its freestanding DKNY store at Oakridge Centre will shut down at the end of the year. The last day both stores will be open to the public is December 26th, 2018. We at Vita Daily have enjoyed a long and lovely partnership with these shops and are sad to see them go after more than 35 years and 20 years, respectively.
The original Enda B store was a small, natural-fibre clothing store in Point Grey Village, right outside the University of British Columbia. That store grew into a unique 5,000-square-foot boutique offering well-made, comfortable, chic clothing and accessories to a wide range of clientele. In 1998, Enda B opened DKNY’s first Canadian freestanding store on Granville Street, which was eventually moved to Oakridge Centre.
More than just stores, these retailers were also about community, creating special relationships with customers and contributing to a long list of non-profit organizations. Enda B and DKNY, we will miss you! —Vita Daily
